Cooking instructions

- 1 packet Vietnamese Lemongrass Marinade SpicePaste©
- 450g sirloin beef, chicken or lamb steak; cut into strips.
- 1 - 2 tbsp vegetable oil.
- 2 tbsp fresh green lime or lemon juice.
- 3 shallots, thinly sliced.
- 150g ( 5 oz ) cucumber, thinly sliced.
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped coriander or mint leaves as garnish.

1. Heat oil in non-stick pan on medium heat. Add meat; pan fry until cooked. Transfer the cooked meat in a big bowl.

2. Stir in the Marinade, lime or lemon juice and shallots.

3. Place the marinated mixture over thinly sliced cucumber. Chill and garnish before serving.

Variations

1. You may use seafood (squid, prawns or lobster ) instead of meat.

Cooking tip

You may use 2 (450g) whole piece of meat with thickness of 1½ cm and charcoal or electric grill the meat until cooked. Cut into strips and mix with the Marinade, lime or lemon juice and shallots. Chill and serve cold with rice vermicelli.
