A rich, gravy-based Chicken curry dish with aromatic spices and a hint of coconut...truly 'Malabar.' This spice mix is a flavorful mix of onion, coconut powder, coriander leaves, salt, green chilli, garlic, ginger, red chili powder, tamarind, clove, black pepper, spices, turmeric and lemon.

Opened the packet and to be honest i wasn't sure if I had ordered something that was going to be a let down. The smell whilst cooking resembled a good curry but the taste was truly amazing. Just how do they manage to get such an authentic taste from such a small sachet. Having now lived in France for the past 5 years I normally have to return to the UK twice a year to satisfy my curry cravings and normally load up the car boot with various curry paste. but never again. You have certainly found an important niche in making life that much more pleasant for us expats Lee. (and possibly some of our French brethren as well.

Wow what a great curry, it was so easy to make and my husband really enjoyed it (he's a bit fussy) the flavour as with all the curry's are just like you are eating out at your local Indian, unbelievable. Thanks Lee you are a marvel! (Posted on 16/10/2009)

At last the authentic taste of a full-bore/full heat Madras curry. 'Packet' does not do justice to the magic paste that generates such an amazing taste! I recently had a curry week (largely for my own benefit) which would have gone on for longer, but had to back off when the family started complaining about the monopolisation of all things meat in the fridge. I'll have to wait until everyone is away before I fire up the Vindaloo mix..! (Posted on 22/09/2009)

This dish was perfect. We had it as part of a curry evening with friends (Wendy made the Vindaloo as well) and it went down a real storm! We'll definitely be ordering more! (Posted on 22/09/2009)

A great curry for me but the rest of the family needed to add cream fraiche. (Posted on 21/09/2009)

I have tried the madras several times as it is one of the best curries I have ever tasted. Normally I try to make my own but with the help of "Lees curries" it makes life a lot easier and the taste is excellent. (Posted on 21/09/2009)

What a terrific Chicken Madras, absolutely authentic and dead simple to prepare. The best 'instant curry' mix I've tasted. The mix is dark brown and sticky, which must be the fresh spices rather than the dry, powder type mixes. (Posted on 21/09/2009)

The Madras was hot and and I like hot - I have the Vindaloo left to try next which I imagine will be very hot! I will now be ordering some more and trying some new ones. (Posted on 21/09/2009)
