Lee Aston Packet Curry France

About this site and me

I'm Lee Aston, an English bloke living in Northern France, this is my site and it's been going since early 2008. A few people have asked where did this site come from? Who's running it? Where's it based? Are the curries any good? If I give you money are you really going to send me some curries or just nick it? And that kind of stuff. Here's the short answer: I'm living in France with the love of my life, a French girl called Valerie (Valeries got a website as well). We've go 3 children, a dog, 4 cats and live in a small town called Les Pieux in Normandy.

When I built the site in early 2008 (I'm a wannabe website designer) I really didn't expect it to get so much attention - but in the first year packet curry had 21000+ visitors, 860+ customers and dished out 1000's of packets of great curry, I've nearly ran out of stock at least twice!

So are the curries any good? Yes, they're are absolutely bloody amazing - if they weren't I honestly wouldn't waste my time on them. Every single comment on the buzz page is for real and all the reviews (over a 100 so far) on the curry pages are written by customers (this site is a bullshit free zone). 7 out of 10 customers reorder and reorder and reorder and the curries really are made in India - in a pristine factory (I've seen it). I have them imported to the UK and shipped over to France - which is a real pain in the neck but well worth it!

Anyways look, If you're undecided take a risk and splash out on a couple of packets - if you don't like them I'll send you a full refund and bunch of flowers.

Buying over the internet can be dodgy, so let me put your mind at ease and answer a few questions you might have.

How do I contact you?

Via the contact us page or just call 0960 183104 Mon to Fri - I have to play with the kids at the weekend and do the hoovering.

Can you trust me?

You can and here's why. My name is Lee and like you I'm a brit living in France for 10 years now with my partner and 3 great kids. For my day job I'm a website designer and I created this site because I love curry and because an Indian friend fed me one of these curry packets while I was visiting him in Darjeeling a year or so back. You can check me out over at www.cinqpages.com, my website design company. Last but not least I'm a fully registered business in France with a Siret number.

How do I pay?

The quick answer is via PayPal. It's secure, reliable and used by people the world over. If you're not happy using PayPal you can pay by cheque. Main thing is you get your packet curry.

When will I get my Curry?

I make absolutely every effort to get your order posted out within 24 hours, thing is I'm not perfect and sometimes it might take a day or two longer. If I'm away and can't process orders for 3 or more days I always leave a little announcement at the top of each page - that way at least you know what you're getting into.

Can I return them?

Nobody ever has but yes you can and you'll get your money back on the returned packets. You'll need to send those you haven't eaten back via recorded post and at your expense though.

Is there an expiry date on the packets?

There is, but we make sure every packed we send you has at least 2 months left to live - plus they can be frozen. Bet you eat them first though!

Health Information

The curry spice mix is made in facilities that processes peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk and wheat.

Where do you deliver to?

It used to be just France, but a few customers moved country so to keep their tummies happy I also do UK, Germany, Spain and Monaco. Call me on +33 (0)960 183104 if you want your European country adding to the list.

Are they really made in India?

Yes, they're made in Pune (south India), shipped to London and transported to me here in France.

What are the delivery charges?

First thing to know is that I don't make a cent on delivery, whatever La Poste charge is what I pass on - if I could do it cheaper I would! Each parcel is packed in strong cardboard container or padded envelope - I'd hate for your curries to get damaged!
