Taste sensation

Bloody delicious and really, really enjoyable
"The truly authentic taste of these curry's makes them bloody delicious and really, really enjoyable. I put them up there with the very best I have eaten in a restaurant and to be able to have them at home is absolutely superb and a lot cheaper as well. Have to admit to tweaking the amount of water the packet states as I like a thicker curry and leaving the meat to marinate in the sauce for as long as you can, prior to serving, is a definite advantage. Eating is not only about satisfying ones stomach, it is also about savouring the taste and finding the different spices that present themselves to you whilst you eat. These packet curry's fill all my boxes in this respect and I look forward to each one I have."

Truly amazing
"Opened the packet and to be honest I wasn't sure if I had ordered something that was going to be a let down. The smell whilst cooking resembled a good curry but the taste was truly amazing. Just how do they manage to get such an authentic taste from such a small sachet. Having now lived in France for the past 5 years I normally have to return to the UK twice a year to satisfy my curry cravings and normally load up the car boot with various curry paste. but never again. You have certainly found an important niche in making life that much more pleasant for us expats Lee (and possibly some of our French brethren as well)."

Best curry outside a curry house
"We have just had the chicken tikka masala curry and, true to your word, we were not disappointed. My husband wasn't sure it was true tikka masala but said it didn't matter because it was lovely. He said it was the best curry outside a curry house he has had. I have a good recipe for balti potatoes (its a dry dish) which we had with it. So our opinion is excellent. We also had the prawn masala curry last week and really enjoyed it. As you suggested I used less water (about a third less) and it was absolutely right. I will certainly be ordering more."

Best vindaloo I have ever tasted, bar none
"on a rainy day in November, with my wife on culinary strike, I decided to give the vindaloo a go. And all I can say now is: wow. It is absolutely fantastic. I bought myself some lamb from our local halal butcher -regular Dutch butchers simply don't understand lamb-, followed the instructions on the bag and only cheated on one point: I let it simmer for about five hours instead of the prescribed 50 minutes, because as conventional wisdom has it: never hurry a curry. For sure, the package looked innocuous enough, but during those five hours miracles occurred. About nineteen million subtle flavours (and two or three not quite so subtle) emerged from what had seemed a harmless little bag. The result was just about the best vindaloo I have ever tasted, bar none. Okay, so it's HOT, and stay clear if that scares you, but otherwise: go-go-go. And if you are, like me, a real carnivore: use 500 grammes of meat instead of 400. It's simply 25% more to enjoy. Thanks Lee, you deserve a knighthood - or at the least a maharadjah's throne!"

I am re-ordering
"I have to tell you that I risked my neck ordering the last lot; my wife is French and I am normally banned from the kitchen except for menial jobs. I am certainly not permitted to order curries, as I did. Moreover you can get a relatively decent curry in Lyon where there are about 8 Indian restaurants. The fact that I am re-ordering 6 - because we cannot agree on 12 as yet, speaks for itself."

"Hi Lee, keep doing a great job, your chicken curry was absolutely lovely and very tasty, it is difficult to find a good curry mix in France as we like a curry with lots of flavour and a little heat, the French curry sauces that we have found are lacking in both of the above departments. I have brought lots of your curries now and will continue to do so, we have great curry evenings where all our friends bring a different curry for us to try and they were very impressed with my/your contribution, and hopefully will now be purchasing packet curries from you. Delicious, rich curry
"I ordered 4 curries on Saturday and by Wednesday I was eating the most delicious, rich curry - Chicken Karahi. I recently tried another well known brand available in the supermarket and it was thin and mean by comparison. Chalk and cheese. The "Friday Night Takeaway" is back! Quicker, cheaper and much more delicious. Will definitely also try this out when we have our next dinner party. Thanks Lee!"

"Just to say that we ordered several packs a while back and so far have tried the Butter Chicken and the Lamb Curry - both were excellent. (I used left-over roast lamb, added a spoonful of greek yoghurt and shortened the cooking time - yummy!) All we need now is for you to come up with some Chinese dishes!"

"My impressions on making my first packet curry: Upon opening the packet I was a bit skeptical - is this really going to make a good curry? My only previous experience with pre-made curries was Patak's curry paste - once was enough! Your curry was very easy to prepare, and got the thumbs up from all the family! Really like the fact that it doesn't have any crap in it, like msg or hydrogenated fat/oil. Keep up the good work!"
